Tea Route
Overview
The Mauritius Tea route is a tour in 3 stages where you will get to visit 2 beautiful colonial houses while tasting the famous Mauritian tea. 1st stop will be at the Domaine des Aubineaux, a colonial house built in 1872 converted into a museum dedicated to the history of tea. You will then head to Bois Cheri and visit the tea factory and museum followed by a stop at their lodge where you will taste a range of Bois Cheri’s flavoured teas. Last stop will bring you to the Saint Aubin estate housing a magnificent colonial house built in 1819. Included in the visit is a rum tasting session of the different rum flavours of the renowned Saint Aubin rum. An authentic experience of how life was back in the old days
